This check was premade or typed up by Rock's secretary's ahead of time.  He would carry a number of these with him at all times and if he needed to get quick cash he would pull one out, sign it in front of the proprietor, then endorse it on the back.

Here is a package from Anawalt lumber. It is a ten piece set and includes a signed check.  Rock sent his maid down for some things and one of his workers to pick up various items at the hardware store.

What is fun about these packages that include a check or checks, corresponding to the receipts and check requests, is that it was from a day or an era in Rock's life.  You can just picture him working around the house and then saying, "We need to get that or this from the hardward store or the market, or order some flowers". 

All checks are Rock's signature and are in excellent condition.
