HERE IS A FUN ONE!!! It is a showman's manual from Rock Hudson's film "BATTLE HYMN". The film co-stars MARTHA HYER, DAN DURYEA AND MORE. It is in EXCELLENT condition A very fun piece found in the file cabinet of Rock Hudson.

It is in great condition and open it measures 18" x 24". A very personal and wonderful find. It is straight from the files of Rock Hudson. All you do is open the butterfly top, then unscrew the disc from the shaft and screw it in on the bottom so it won't pierce too far into the dirt or grass where ever you may be. It is made from cast aluminum and hard wood. On the outside the wood is carved. Made in India. It measures 35.5" closed and 30" open. From the three wise men to baby jesus, from camels to farm animals and from sheep hearders to a bird house or a well. Rock Hudson loved the holidays and especially Christmas. He went all out on his decorations and here is an example of that. WHAT A FIND!!!!! I just un-earthed this piece of candy from a box I recently opened. It is a Christmas Decoration, made in Japan, that you fill with water and six angels float around the porcelan circle. I think it is the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus in the center. The ring is about 12.5" in Dia. The whole set is very old and is in excellent condition. In my upcoming books, I tell what it was like for Rock during the Holidays. This is another fun find. I have seen these kind of things before. They take a coin, cut it in half, and make little containers out of them. It is a real coin!!!! Great person to have around if you ever got a head ache!! I think the coin is French, I may be wrong. It is stamped with a date, 1780. It is in excellent condition and stays closed very well. Once again, I didn't polish it or play around with it. It is as I found it, minus the little sticky tape glue on the front. I rubbed that off with my thumb. I imagine it is silver like most coins of the day, though I never had it tested. MEASURES: 1.6" DIA. X 5/8" THICK. Before plastic bottles they had fresh water coolers and Paper or Styrofoam cups.
