This is a necklace from Rock Hudsons jewelry box.  It most likely was his mothers.  It is Gold plated and I think cultured pearls.  It is 29" long and weighs 11.9 gms.

These are gold plated multi strand serpentine earings.  They are 2.75" long and weigh 3.3 gms.

George got his mothers jewelry after she passed as he was an only child.  He never did anything with it.  He just kept it in his box.  Most of Alice's (George's Mothers name) things were costume or silver.  It is heart warming thinking that he held onto these pieces in rememberance of his Mother.  They are old and fun pieces.   I have not polished them. Alice and George were both wonderful people.

This is a set of cufflinks and button  studs made with mother of pearl faces, looks like moonstone in the center and they are gold plated.    There are 3 matching studs and one other and matching cufflinks.  They were made by Clark.  A beautiful set from Rock Hudson's jewelry box.

KAGAN RING SIZER

Here is something wonderful & very personal!!! 

This was a present to me from Rock Hudson.  I want to give you a bit of the history behind it.

I grew up in a family that had a Jewelry business.  I then branched out and got a Graduate Gemologists degree from The Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, Ca.  I then started my own Jewelry business.   As a gift, Rock bought this for me.  Rock always supported my education.  I know that Rock must have gone "a-looking" for something like this.  They are not found on every corner today, let alone back then and we didn't have the internet to assist in  our searches.  He was so proud when he gave it to me. 

Getting this gift brought me to tears and seeing me, Rock broke out himself.

 A very touching moment. 

I used it for years and years even to fix some of Rock's personal jewelry.  

It is an actual, working ring sizer.   It is very old and very heavy.    I am now offering it for sale to you as I have no use for it today.  These are still made today.  This one is very old witha serial number H-6044. 

The way it works is, you would put your ring onto the chromed spindal and slide it up as far as possible.  This will also let you know what size your ring is now. (look and you can see  the size numbers)  Then you would pull the handle and the shiney part, the chromed part, spreads and streches the gold.  Without cutting and soldering,  it will size up your ring a size or two. Gold is one of the most pliable metal in the world, with an ounce having the ability to stretch into a strand over a mile.
