"SCRAP BOOK" FROM THE MID 1800'S

OMG!!!

This is so facinating I find I can't put it down!!!!!!  It is a scrap book Rock had that I have not a clue where he got or the history.   It is stamped with his library stamp, "From the Library of Rock Hudson-RH" on a hand full of the pages as well as this scrap book as a home made insert and you find the stamp there as well.

THIS IS SO INTERESTING, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!

It is full of articles from about 1838-1860"s, pasted on the home made pages.   Back then, this is how people filled there shelves with information pertinant to themselves.  Kinda like your computer.

It is bound and has......let me count.....well over 100 pages, PLUS, the insert.   It seems to be broken up in to sections of different color.  There are notations in some one from a long time ago's hand.  Some of the pages in each section are empty as if the process was not complete.  Maybe one of Rock's distant relatives assembeled this and passed it down through the generations.  All  I can say is, WOW.

The book is large, it measures:  approx. 15" x 9" x 2.5"
