Rock's Photos:

These photographs are original from Rock Hudson's personal collection...

They were his...

The ones he looked through personally...

The ones he would show to others in the business or friends...

The ones that brought back memories, good and bad and in-between, when viewing.

The ones that made him cry, made him laugh, filled him with emotion.

THE PHOTOGRAPHS HE HELD CLOSE TO HIS HEART!

Some are stamped by the photographers.

Most are embossed with Mr. Hudson's personal stamp which reads:  "From the Library of R H - Rock Hudson."

IMPORTANT NOTE: These photographs from Mr. Hudson's collection are all ORIGINALS, printed when they were taken.

These are unlike many "Original" photographs sold today by the photographers or their families---which in many cases are printed upon order.

All of Rock's photos are from the original negatives!!!

(**George's photos are pretty close to the same but don't have the embossing!)

Some photographs are larger than 8" x 10" some are smaller, but they are all excellent!
Please inquire for exact sizes and individual prices
(Some are marked, some not).

SYNOPSIS:

Roger Willoughby is considered to be a leading expert on sports fishing. He's written books on the subject and is loved by his customers in the sporting goods department at Abercrombie and Fitch, where he works. There's only one problem however: he's never been fishing in his life. When the store owner enters him in a fishing contest, mayhem ensues. Written by garykmcd Roger Willoughby works at a sporting goods store and is the author of a best selling guide to fishing, even though he has never fished. However Abby inveigles him to enter a fishing tournament.

TRIVIA:

  • This film was meant to be an homage/remake to Hawks' Bringing Up Baby (1938), and Hawks even wanted Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant to star in the movie.
  • Filming began late in 1962 but the movie was not released until 1964.
  • Cary Grant turned down the lead role because he was 59 and leading lady Paula Prentiss was only 24.
  • Revealing mistakes: Just after helping Easy gracefully exit the lodge due to her inadvertently unzipped dress, Roger attempts re-zip the back of Easy's dress. Just prior to the moment Easy turns her back to hide Roger's hands from view, it is obvious that Roger grasps the end of his tie to attach it to the zipper.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Some of the Photographs are not "True" 8" x 10".  Some are a bit smaller and some are a bit larger.  Also there are some Photographs that are from overall smaller pictures.
