Brass turtle box with shell inside. George Nader had many collections. One thing he collected was turtles.  He had brass turtles, porcelan turtles, clay turtles, etc.  This turtle he kept in his bathroom and would open it every morning to view the shell inside to brighten his day.

He bought it in India while filming "Monsoon" co-starring Ursula Theis aka Mrs. Robert Taylor in 1952. Mrs. Theis is the one that gave George the shell inside and told George that "with the spiral of the shell going backwards, it is good luck". There is a little note inside under the shell's cushion that says all of this. As far as where exactly he got it, I can only imagine at a Bizarre or some other sort of pedlar or shop.
