This Chandelier is wonderful.  It is very old and was originally a candelabra.  It was wired some years ago to an electric chandelier.  When these pictures were taken (afterwards) i noticed that one bulb was out.  I would have re shot them but I didn't have another bulb.  But I assure you all sockets work just fine.  If you look closely, you can see the wiring was attached to the outside of the frame.  This was because as I stated earlier it was originally a candelabra.  A simply wonderful piece.

When Rock Hudson had it hanging at his home he would keep a plant in the bucket on the bottom.  A very personal touch.

These wrought iron railings / fences are part of a corner piece but, can be set length wise.  They are very heavy and are wonderful.  Rock Hudson bought them in Spain. In the one photo you see where they were in the yard in Spain and the person who he bought them from.  I have many more pieces of documentation on these. A wonderful find and a piece of history.

These Andirons were in Rock Hudson's living room # 2 as you can see from the proof sheet and magazine photos.  They are from Spain and are 16th or 17th century.   I have the matching Fireplace tools as well.

These lamps are FABULOUS.  I had them professionally rewired and resocketed with the top of the line items. 

I am now adding the new photos that I took today, July 25th, 2014.  You can see Rock sitting next to one of them, with the other being on the other side of the couch.  These are very heavy, sturdy and in perfect condition.  The shades are in great shape but will need some restitching which I did not do as some like them as they are and have aged. 

I HAVE REWAXED THE TOPS AS WELL.  I REMEMBER THAT AT THE CASTLE, THIS WAS ONE OF MY DUTIES TO KEEP UP ON.

ALL I CAN SAY IS.....THESE LAMPS ARE CLASSY, A VERY VERY PERSONAL PART OF ROCK HUDSON'S WORLD AND VERY USEFUL!!!

They work as new.  Using only the best. 

  Tom Clark is sitting next to one of them.  Tom Clark was Rock Hudson's life partner.  In the page from the magazine you can see them next to the couches up by the fireplace.  Then in the last old photograph you can see another lamp somewhat up close.  The reason for this photo is that the shades are identical. 

They are spectacular lamps.  Much better than the photographer that day.  They are very old and originally were candelabras.  Converted years ago to lamps.  They are in many, many more photographs of Rock Hudson's home known as "The Castle".  Where he lived from 1962 till his passing in 1985 at 9402 Beverly Crest Dr. Beverly Hills, Ca. 92010

These chairs were up on Rock Hudson's balcony.  They were one of his favorites.  He told me a story one time that any time any one sits on one of these chairs up on his balcony, with a drink in hand, watching the sunset and the city lights they turn to mush.  He used to say that they were "Hypnotizingly Comfortable".  They are very solid and heavy and oversized to fit his frame.  The price is for the pair.
